Fury: the purpose-designed F5K electric glider.

Performance
While others are using converted DLG wings, the Fury is designed from the ground up based on the current F5K rules. Due to the wing loading requirements, we believe F5K models will require larger wing areas coupled with higher lift airfoils. With that in mind, the Fury’s aero is based on the BAMF with Synergy 2 airfoils but scaled up in wing area and with the airfoils redistributed. As a result, the Fury will still be able to fly ‘light’ even when flown at higher wing loadings.

Ease of Building & Reliability
ArmSoar’s products in the past two years have all focused on simplicity in assembly to make it not only easy to build but be rock solid and reliable. The Fury uses four servos installed in the belly of the fuselage, screwed down in a servo tray. Ample room in the nose allows for more gear selection based on your preference. QuikLink pushrods keep flaperons nice and tight, while the tails actuate with pull-spring like DLGs.

Construction
For ease of transportation, the wing is removable and splits down the center. Both the fin and stabilizer are also removable, helping the Fury minimize the storage and transport footprint. The Fury is made in Ukraine along with our BAMF and Deviant models. Needless to say, the quality is top-notch with a precise fit and shiny finish. All parts are produced in CNC milled aluminum moulds, and all flying surfaces have a solid Cascell core for an incredible strength-to-weight ratio. The fuselage is carbon but has a fibreglass nose for compatibility with your radio receiver.

Images shown are a representation of the model only and may differ slightly due to the handmade nature of the model.

Outstanding

I have never owned a e-glider. The last glider I owned was a CG Gentle Lady in about 1987. The Fury caught my eye on the internet. It is WAY beyond my expectations. The quality of the moulding, the vibrant colours, the fit and finish is just fantastic. Dealing with Armsoar was amazing. Kyrylo was super friendly and efficient in the build and shipping. Best box packing I have ever seen. Zero shipping damage. Highly recommend….. can’t wait to fly my Fury

The Fury is a great airplane.

The Fury flies great. It feels light in the air, great handling, the receiver ready is very fast to have flying. By the time I put the GR6 Archer plus Rx in and the v4 altimeter for launch height restriction for f5k and the 520mah 2 cell. It required no additional weight to cg right at 68mm. You gotta have one!

Fantastic little plane!

I’ve had my fury for little over a year. What a fantastic and fun little plane! Great performance for its size. So easy to setup , transport and fly and Approx 1/3 the price of a good F5J ship.

Fury maiden flight

From my post at rcgroups…
“ I maidened my Fury today. First toss motor off looked good with the cg set at 68mm. Toss was soft and the Fury stayed in ground lift for quite a distance.

But what was a surprise was the full throttle launch. All controls were at neutral and the Fury went straight out then up at about a 60°, hands free. Motor cut and the Fury leveled off with minimal elevator input.

After a half-dozen flights, I can say that the Fury flies as advertised. I haven’t set all of my flight modes yet, but was still able to get some decent hang time using the one thermal mode I had.”

Looks like a beautiful glider. Haven’t flown yet- will be refining control throws and cg.
